The Attached Middle School to Jiangxi Normal University (AMS-JXNU) was founded in 1943. There are more than 480 full-time faculty members employed in our education group. AMS-JXNU has been provincially and nationally recognized as an outstanding, top-ranked middle school. We have been distinguished as the best high school in Jiangxi Province based on exceptional results for numerous academic competitions, the overall development of students, their enrollment in top-ranked universities, the admission rate of students to Peking University and Qsinghua University, and the high employment rate of alumni. We have long adhered to the principle of providing a student-centered, well-rounded education. At AMS-JXNU, we consider education to be our responsibility, which motivates us to continuously seek improvement. Our exceptional performance and esteemed provincial and national reputations have earned us a place among “China’s Top 100 Middle Schools.”
The Middle School Attached to JXNU International Program was approved by the Jiangxi Provincial Education Department in 2011. We offer students a three-year, international high school education and the opportunity to gain admittance to top universities around the world. We have been granted delegate authorization from the American College Board, making us the first official Advanced Placement (AP) school in Jiangxi Province (School Code: 694449). In 2023, we are honored to become one of the school member as an A-Level international school by both Pearson Edexcel (School Code: 95682) and Cambridge Assessment (School Code: CX245).
14 years of hard work have led our program to be one of the best international program in Central China. One hundred percent of our graduates have been admitted to colleges and universities abroad, not only in the United States, but also in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and Hongkong, China. Half of our students have been accepted by top-ranking universities, including the Stanford University, Cornell University, University of Chicago, Johns Hopkins University, Northwestern University, Vanderbilt University, Emory University, Carnegie Mellon University, Imperial College London, UCL, KCL, the University of Edinburgh, the University of Manchester, the University of Toronto, McGill University, UBC, the University of Sydney, the University of Melbourne, National University of Singapore, HKUST, CUHK and PolyU, etc. From 2019 to 2022, two of our excellent graduates were accepted and admitted by Stanford University. In the Early Decision round of 2024, another outstanding student received an offer from Cornell University. Over the past five years, the admission rate of our graduates into the top 50 universities in the United States has risen to 89.5%. The admission rate of the class of 2022 graduates of the top 63 universities in the United States has reached 100%; the admission rate of our students into the top 30 universities in the United States has reached 23%. The school enjoys an excellent international reputation and endorsement in terms of college enrollments.
Our curriculum has been modified to meet the unique needs of Chinese students; our campus is rich in community culture and extracurricular activities, and our excellent foreign teaching staff and the school management team attract parents and students from all over China. In recent years, the Middle School Attached to JXNU International Program has become the first choice for Junior School graduates.
